Hansie's Matchfixing

Here's one for you, to get those brains working. You're lost in the bush, it's Lion infested country and it's pitch dark, so you can't see a thing. You have a map of the area, a candle, one match and a cell phone. You desperately need to see the map and get an idea of how to get into a safer area. You strike the match to light the candle but to your horror the match breaks and is unusable...
