Sehwag, Srinath shine as India win a Thriller in Auckland After brilliant displays with the bat and the ball by Virender Sehwag and Javagal Srinath respectively, India almost messed it up chasing a low victory target of 200 runs against New Zealand in the sixth one-dayer at Eden Park in Auckland on January 11.
From a comfortable 182/4, India slipped to 198/9 and in the end, thanks to a wild slog by Ashish Nehra, India won by one wicket, with one ball to spare.
Penalised by one over for slow over rate, the Indian reply started with the skipper Sourav Ganguly finding some form with 23. Rahul Dravid contributed with 21 runs, while Sachin Tendulkar scored just one run.
