Aussies butcher Dutchmen
Australia beat the Netherlands by 75 runs in a rain-affected World Cup Group A match on Thursday.
The Dutch, chasing 198 for victory, were bowled out for 122 in 30.2 overs, fast bowler Andy Bichel and medium-pacer Ian Harvey taking three wickets each as the world champions sealed their third straight victory of the tournament.
Australia posted a total of 170-2 from 36 rain-interrupted overs before match officials calculated the revised Dutch target using the Duckworth/Lewis scoring method.
Damien Martyn finished on 67 not out and Darren Lehmann on 29 after an unbroken third-wicket partnership of 67.
